What happened?

The holocaust was a time when the Germans, led by Adolf Hitler, assaulted Jewish people across the world. The Holocaust is also a part of World War 2. During the Holocaust Jewish people were put in concentration camps where they were forced to work under very bad conditions. Many Jews died during this time, and many people who tried to help them died too. This event ended on May 6 1945, and the Jews who survived were freed.
